Breast Cancer Survivor Does Boudoir Photoshoot At Aleman Boudoir Photography
As women, we face many battles in our life, but women are warriors! We are strong, beautiful, and confident.
Sometimes it takes an extra push to be reminded of these amazing attributes we have, especially after overcoming struggles life throws our way. Boudoir photoshoots are the perfect way to re-discover yourself!
This beauty, Shawn, came into our studio to do a boudoir photoshoot after beating breast cancer, and as an anniversary gift to her husband of over 2 decades that helped her through her battle!
Shawn went through numerous chemotherapy treatments, a double mastectomy, and reconstruction surgery. She also has scarring from the surgeries, and told us that she just wanted to feel beautiful again.
She is GLOWING after her boudoir photoshoot and was such a positive ray of light during the whole experience.
I’m so grateful that she trusted us to be a part of the next chapter in her life!

"I wanted to do the photoshoot for a couple of reasons. One, to give to my husband of 26 years.
And then two, because I am a breast cancer survivor. I went through breast cancer last year and I am cancer free and I just wanted to celebrate me!
I was most nervous about being n*d*, but you know what? It felt liberating and great, so it was good! And now I feel great!
