5 Lingerie Outfits We Love
When you don’t wear lingerie all the time (that’s most of us) choosing what’s right for you can be tough, but we’re here to lend a helping hand.
We have a wide range of outfit choices in our Client Closet to alleviate the stress of ligerie shopping for your photoshoot. However, if you’re still interested in bringing in your own, here are some tips to help.
Knowing the right lingerie for your body type is the first step to creating a flattering look that helps boost your confidence, whether your planning for your photoshoot or just a night in!
Bras and Panty Sets
Don’t make it complicated! A low-key bra and panty set can look great! Try out sets in jewel tone colors. Think red, blue, green. Or maybe more subdued colors, like pink or blush. Look for colors that complement your skin tone. Black is always in style and classic! If you’re worried about your tummy or “fupa” look into mid-rise or high-rise panties. Lace is always great for revealing a little skin, without showing it all.
Corsets
Corsets are great to “snatch” that waist and elevate the “girls.” Just make sure it fits you right. Corsets are meant to be tight around the waist. If choosing a ribbon tied back corset, the two backs should not touch. There should be a gap to leave room for tightening.
Body Suits
Bodysuits are my favortie go to! They are super flattering on most every body type. They offer a bit more coverage, while still accentuating your curves and looking sexy.
Lace
Lace is always a winning option and oh so pretty! Lace can be more forgiving than something completely sheer, but don’t be afraid to try both!
Garters and Thigh Highs
Don’t be afraid to try a garter set with some fishnet thigh highs! Garters are like panties and can be found in a wide range of sizes and can be used to give you that high waist panty coverage effect. Fishnets look great on camera! If you prefer sheer hose thigh highs, just make sure they are not too dark. Dark thigh highs can make your legs look shorter. Or try full length fishnets with a bodysuit!
TIP: Throw those cheap g-strings that come with several sets AWAY! G-strings are not super flattering on many women. If you have a set that you need to find panties for, then those classic colors, black and red, are easier to color match.
When you come in for your photoshoot we will help you select the best pieces for your body type in our Client Closet, or we can help choose from the pieces you bring in. Or feel free to use a little of both! Either way, you’re going to look great and feel amazing at your photoshoot!
